OK, so Blair. For those of you who don't know (and where have you BEEN?!) he plays Stuart "Chooka" Parker , the cute cowboy-turned-mechanic-turned-builder-turned-army-dude-turned-hospital helper-turned-limo driver-turned-mechanic again-turned-crazy brainwashed Life Mechanic fool-turned (wait for it!)-policeman!, in Neighbours. Phew, good job that boy's decisive in what he wants to do in life!
Blair used to live in Singapore! He wasn't there at quite the same time as me - I missed him by a matter of months, but it's still pretty cool. He actually went to the same school as me, Tanglin Junior School, which is sooo groovy!! And he's friends with some friends of ours from there, which has proved VERY useful... as they told him that I was coming down to see him in the Pantomime he did in Canterbury (Christmas 02/03) and...
... I MET HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's an absolute SWEETHEART!!! He was just soooo nice to us! He loved the banner I made (thanks to the girls for telling me how and to his brother Ryan for suggesting what to write on it!) and he was more than happy to sign stuff ("throw 'em at me!") and was very willing for us to take some pics of us with him! And he sat and chatted with me for around ten/fifteen minutes... it was GREAT!
He seemed totally down to earth, he's a lovely guy and omg he's even more gorgeous in real life!!! So yeah - I had a pretty fantastic start to that new year!!!!
Well, Blair leaped (leapt?) into Aus Fame when he took part in their first Big Brother program - and came SECOND! Anyhoos, when he left the BB household, he got an offer from Neighbours and accepted it! Unfortunately, I believe he's leaving at the end of this year. *sob*
Blair's also in his brothers' band. He's the youngest of 4 boys, and he's joined his big brothers (ha ha ha - geddit?) Ryan and Gav in a band called Fifth Avenue The band ROCKS majorly..... and has 3 McDonough's in it.. you can't go far wrong with that!!! :-) Ryan's an absolute sweetie and also suggested what I should put on my banner (which Blair loved). The oldest brother is called Wade and I was once told that he lives in the US and makes things that go "beep" for NASA, so I'm sticking by that, even though I have no idea how accurate it is.
Blair's basically just a reaaaaallly good guy. And totally ROCKS!!! :-) And just click here to see my pics of me and him!
